1. Who we are

JDOC, Inc. (Kabushiki Gaisha JDOC, “JDOC”, “we”, “us”) is a marketing company registered at 6-18-22, Mukodaicho, Nishitokyo, Tokyo, 188-0013 Japan. We act as the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

When you contact us through our website, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company name, inquiry area, and the details of your message. When we work together, we also process the information reasonably required to deliver our services and correspond with you.

Like most websites, our site also collects usage data (such as pages visited, device type, and clicks and scrolling on a page) through cookies or similar technologies. Section 7 lists the tools we use and what each one is for.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, provide and improve our services, send you information you have asked for, and meet our legal obligations. With usage data, we measure and improve the site and our advertising, and keep spam out of the contact form. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the above.

4. Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate (such as hosting, email, and form-processing providers), under obligations of confidentiality, or where disclosure is required by law. We never sell or rent your information to third parties.

5. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by Japanese law, and then delete or anonymize it.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing inquiry@j-doc.jp. We respond within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law, including Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).

7. Cookies and site tools

The site runs the following tools:

• Google Analytics, loaded through the Google tag, measures how the site is used.
• Google Ads conversion measurement records when a visit from one of our ads leads to an inquiry.
• Microsoft Clarity records how visitors use our pages, such as clicks and scrolling, as heatmaps and session replays.
• reCAPTCHA v3 by Google protects the contact form from spam.
• Contact Form 7, a plugin on our own website, sends your inquiry to us.

Google and Microsoft handle the data their tools collect under their own terms: the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies does not prevent you from contacting us or reading the site.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
